    It is noteworthy, that, while the telecommunications technology is a _communication_ rather than _computation_ technology, it not only empowers humans to communicate and decide together, but also machines.
    
    Things like keyboards, hand tracking devices, and ultimately [BCI](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain–computer_interface)s on the other hand are empowering only humans to communicate.
    
    This distinction may be important to note, when prioritizing the technologies to focus on.
