Reducing Stroke Risk

Stroke is second largest cause of death of people world-wide (e.g., 6.7 million people died of stroke in 2012). A stroke may be caused by a blocked artery (ischemic stroke) or the leaking or bursting of a blood vessel (hemorrhagic stroke).

Any ideas how to significantly reduce the risk of stroke world-wide are highly desired.
